SICK / TATTOO ME

Tattoooos! I love them so much.. well little symbol ones. I found this great tattoo blog, Tattoologist, and it's reignited my need for one, like ASAP. For my 17th birthday, I was supposed to get the zodiac symbol for leo (it looks like a little kitty tail, so presh), but just never got around to it. Then, the other night I was researching tattoo laws for Oklahoma and Texas, and I can't get one unless I'm 18, even with parent consent. BUMMER. So I guess I'm just going to have to wait it out. (August 10th, 2011 you better get here quick hehe).

So I guess I'll just list (yes, I have a list) all the tattoos I would like.

1) The leo symbol behind my left ear. This one has been planned for awhile... just can't get enough of my horoscopes :)

2) As seen in the photo above, from the haute pursuit, I want her little Vs. Even though her tattoo is for she and her sister's initials, my favorite number is 5, whose roman numeral is V... that counts right?

3) I want an infinity symbol on my ribcage. Just a little one. Is it not cute to get things on your ribcage?

4) Some shapes. A circle, square, and a triangle. Not sure where. Look up their meanings, especially circle :).

I wish I had pretty hands, so I could get a cool white ink finger tattoo, but alas I do not. But hey, I've still got my wrist! What are your thoughts on tattoos?

Why do I keep getting sick?! Seriously, this is no bueno ( I speak no spanish, yet I say this phrase all the time haha I hope it actually makes sense). Over winter break I was super sick for 4ish days, and this weekend I've caught some kind of flu (blegh!). I must have jinxed myself, when I kept insisting that "I never get sick".. (well, bam, now I do!).

SENIOR

It's a snow day today! I had a big thing about senior superlatives written and then when I copyed the url for the photo I lost my little passage :(. So here's my attempt to recreate it!

Yesterday during our english classes, we voted on senior superlatives (biggest flirt, best dressed, etc.)! I really want to be atleast nominated for something. I'm pretty sure my friend and I are getting nominated for cutest couple against these 2 bff boys (hipsters.......), who have been campaigning since last year! I also heard that a few people voted me for 'best dressed'. Okay, you're probably thinking, "You have a fashion blog so you obviously love fashion... why would that be surprising?". But here's the deal: This year I've been slacking off in the cuteness dept. As in I see no reason to put an effort into what I wear to school, I hate everyone, wah wah wah :) haha. I can only explain my votes for best dressed by the intense 'look cute' effort I put in sophomore and junior year.

How ridiculously gorgeous are these photos? The models look otherworldy, like they're evanescent ghosts floating through the air. amazing.

Okay, please excuse my cheesy imagery haha... I'm just terrible at expressing myself through words! One of my friends was laughing at my terrible storytelling skills the other day, but it's not my fault. I start a story and it seems funny in my head, and then while I'm telling it I get lost in what I'm saying (and laughing c:), and I then suddenly I forget where I was going with the story. my life. :)

I feel like such a little hipster in this outfit, what with my flannel and cut offs (I have a big rant about hipsters, BUT I'll save it for the latter half of the post c:). It really makes me miss summer! I bought these shorts and DIYed them (you can see their original form here), but they're still a little off. I think I'm going to try drying them a few times to see if they'll look a little more worn in.

Also, I'm debuting my new lovely clogs by Sam Edelman :). They're surprisingly comfy for being so tall! I think I must have wore them around my house for 3 hours when I first pulled them out of the packaging. You'll definitely be seeing more of these lovelies.

Okay, a quick rant about the infestation of hipsters at my school:

Maybe it's because I go to an arts school, but does everyone really have to be a hipster. Seriously, EVERYONE. But the thing is, it goes against all things hipster of not conforming. So, by everyone being hipsters, it's not even hipster.

I used to LOVE hipsters (obsession maybe c:), but it's so annoying being surrounded by them all day.

This is how I've spent my three day weekend haha. This is a friendship bracelet I've been trying to finish since Christmas for my friend, Andrew, but the kid has huge wrists (like 18cm)!
